I am a newbie to my Cricut machine so I am still learning all the ends and out, making mistakes, and having a lot of fun while doing it. Like I have said before when I introduced you to my new crafting buddy, my Cricut Explore Air 2 and Easy Press2 has given me so much joy. Since I have been able to craft, I am finding a little happiness where there was none. Last year took a lot from me physically and emotionally. I have been dealing with so much it has been hard to find any peace.
When I have a chance to work on a project and see the final result it brings me such happiness and I love gifting the items. I’ve been so grateful that I’ve been able to add more DIY projects to blog.
Here are a couple of quick and easy projects you can make using your Cricut Air Explore 2 and your Cricut EasyPress 2. I found all of my items at the Dollar Tree.

These projects cost me a total of $2 because I had the vinyl on hand. To be honest my projects were so small two of them I used scrape vinyl I had remaining from holiday projects. My advice to anyone is to always keep any left over vinyl and if you are in Dollar Tree pick up items you feel inspire you, it could be your next project!

The first item is this cute blue mini throw pillow. I thought this was so cute and I knew it would match her decor. I was not exactly sure how I would do it but I think it came out nice.

The first thing I did was went into design space and pick my design. I chose this one because my daughter loves to create just like myself, so I thought this was fitting for Crafts You Can Make Using Your Cricut.
You will use the glitter vinyl iron-on for this one.
*** Make sure to mirror your image*** Send to the mat and cut. Weed the excess vinyl.
Preheat your Cricut EasyPress 2 to 330°F and you will let it press for 30 seconds with light pressure and it is a warm peel. If you are ever unsure about the temperature, follow the Cricut Heat guide.
That’s it, you have this adorable mini throw pillow. How cute is it!!
The next pillow was this teal square one and I wanted to give a personal touch so added her name and music notes, she loves to sing. Here I just went into design space I used Text to write her name “Bradley Font” is the font I chose. Then I inserted two images musical notes and treble clef note. I attached everything and selected a color close to silver.
