This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

When I first saw projects been made with the Cricut AIr Explore 2, I just knew I had to get my hands on one. I have been a person who have loved doing crafts since I was a little girl. I love to do things with my hand, from baking to scrapbooking, I love it all.

1. Projects Out of the Box

There are a huge variety of projects for people to get started with if you are new to your Cricut Machine. If you are not able to created your own design, Cricut offers you a Free trial to Cricut Design Space. Cricut Design Space gives you access to over 100,000 images and different ready to make projects. You don’t have to be a graphic designer but your designs come out professional. I love Design Space because it is easy to use and you still have the ability to customize your design.

2. Easy To Use

It is easy to use. If you are a beginner to cutting machines like myself, you will find this machine walks you through step by step how to you use it. If you get lost along the way, there are vides that can help guide you. Remember my first t-shirt I made, it was so simple to cut.

Thankfully when it comes to Cricut EasyPress2 it is exactly that, easy. Since I have always wanted to be able to design my own t-shirts, bags, throws and pillows, when I learned about the Cricut EasyPress 2 I knew it was meant for me.

3. Cuts Different Fabric Materials

The Cricut Air Explore 2 can cut 100’s of different fabric such as felt, cardstock, glitter vinyl and so much. With the ability to cut so many different types of materials you can create so many different types of projects. One of the next projects I am excited about working with is stickers and faux leather. Since I am a planner goal putting together my own travel journal and stickers for labeling would be amazing.

4. Create Easy Personalized Gifts

One of the things I love most about the Cricut Air Explore 2 is the ability to make quick easy personalized gifts. If there is a gift you can think of to make more than likely you can personalize it with the Cricut. You can add vinyl to tumblers, infusible ink to totes, t-shirts , and customize mugs similar to what I did in my first how to blog post. The possibilities are endless. I personalized our family’s Christmas stockings this year.

5. Make Matching Pajama Sets

Tis the season the wearing matching pajama sets in my household. Every Christmas Eve I like to let the kids unwrap one box. Inside the box it is usually a set of new pajamas and something else. I try to get them something that is similar in style because lets be honest, the matching Christmas pj sets are too pricey.

Supplies Needed For DIY Matching Pajama Set

  • Cricut EasyPress 2 or Iron
  • Cricut Iron-On Design Let I Snow
  • Cricut EasyPress Mat
  • White Tee Shirt
  • Blue Bottoms

I really like working with the Iron-On Design because it so simple to use. During this time of the year we are all very busy rushing around dealing with kids performances, last minute shopping and the iron-on designs works perfectly.

I preheated my Cricut EasyPress 2 to 340 Degrees Fahrenheit and placed my cotton/poly blend tee on the mat. (You can use the shirt type of your choice) and follow the Cricut heating guide for proper instruction. Also if you are using a household iron your iron may need to be hotter. You will need to preheat your t-shirt for 5 seconds.

Place the iron-on face down, liner side up and firmly press for 30 seconds. Flip your shirt over and press for 15 seconds, slowly remove liner when it is cool to touch and there you have it. Adorable matching tops.
