My mother-in-law would make these delicious meatballs for events and gathering and I thought they were the most mouth-watering pieces of beefy goodness. Over the years I have changed the recipe, but only slightly. These meatballs are perfect for parties and pot-lucks. You will be surprised how easy they are to make.

Italian BBQ Cheesy Meatballs Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 2.5 Pounds Ground Beef
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 1 Chopped Bell Pepper
- 3/4 Cup Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 large Egg
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp granulated Parmesan
- 1 tsp Ground Basil
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 Bottle BBQ Sauce
- 1 cup Stella Parmesan Cheese
- 6 Buns optional
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients, soy, sauce, two tablespoons of BBQ sauce and beef
- Add onions, peppers, egg, and milk, mix thoroughly.
- Heat a skillet with oil
- Shape your meatballs (about 1 inch)
- Add meatballs, and cook, flipping occasionally, 20 to 25 minutes
- Add BBQ sauce to the meatballs
- Garnish with fresh Stella Parmesan Cheese
