Finding Time | Touring Schools in the 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE

Author:

The last two months have been moving at full speed. I have been doing the duties of what seems to be the equivalent to three humans. My kids need me a lot these days. I am in the process of helping my daughter find a high-school, prep for admission exams and apply for scholarships.  We’ve had school tours every weekend and some throughout the week. If that isn’t enough, I am also searching for a preschool for my little guy. This process is relatively the same, minus the scholarship applications.  I’ve been overwhelmed, to say the least.

Fortunately, I had the opportunity to drive around the city in the 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE. It is something about stepping into a new vehicle that brings on the sense of power and happiness for me. I drive a sedan so driving this little beauty made parking at the crowded school open houses so easy.

There is so much more to life than the hustle and bustle of daily activities. As far as I can remember my life has always moved at full speed ahead, with some awkward curves and a few forks in the road, but never a slowing point. Sure I’ve been stalled by railroad crossing and bad weather, but I have never pulled over to the side to take a rest.

The Mitsubishi Mirage slowed things down just a bit for me. I was able to connect my phone to Apple Play, listen to my Spotify playlist and even turn on some tunes for Carter (3 years old). Most parents know that driving a teenager and toddler around can get quite loud if there is nothing for them to do.

My daughter and I tuned into a few podcasts on the drive to school and honestly, I needed the peaceful drive to calm my mind. I’ve never gone on an actual trip, non-business related of course, so I must say the Apple Play feature on the car was my favorite. It is nice to take a listen to a few inspirational podcasts or catch up on an Audible book during rush hour traffic, it makes the drive so much more tolerable.

I really liked driving this car for the week I had it. Mitsubishi Motors builds vehicles for fun exciting people who are looking for something a little different from your average car.

Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE Features

This sweet car came packed with all a woman could need.  The starting price is $17,095 for this key-less cutie. There is plenty of head and leg room inside. My husband is 6 feet and had no issues feeling comfortable inside. The trunk capacity is perfect for this sized car.

  • 6.5″ Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA) System
  • Rear-view camera
  • Bluetooth wireless technology
  • 15-inch dark chrome alloy wheels
  • FAST-Key passive entry system with push-button start and panic feature

The rear camera is a plus in the 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE and a feature I don’t have on my current car. It makes parking much easier. The kids were super excited about this car. There was plenty of room for Carter’s forward facing car-seat and all Jasmine’s school belongings.

This car is excellent for fuel. Mitsubishi’s 2018 Mirage and Mirage G4 compact come with a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile power-train warranty at no extra cost. Who can pass on that?

Overall I loved driving this car. Because I have two kids, a husband, and considering extending our family, this car would be a little too small for us. I love it for my niece that is in her 2nd year of college. My daughter will be driving soon and this would be perfect for her as well. I think this car is suitable for college students, singles and smaller families. If you are in the market for a new car, head over and check out the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE, it will not disappoint.

  1. WOW! You certainly have your hands full, that’s for sure. We’re going through a lot of the same things, touring colleges with our teenagers. It would be great to travel in a car like this, the ability to play Spotify playlists during road trips would be a fantastic upgrade for us

  2. Wow girl, you have been very busy! This Mitsubishi looks like a cool peppy vehicle. I like the fact that their is still space in the back seat even with a big car seat in the middle. And that price is so affordable!

  3. That seems like a great car for college students! Since I have four kids, it’d be way too small for me, but for a college student or even a small family, it’d be perfect.

  4. Apply Play is one of my favorites. That’s not a bad price for a car that has so much stuff on it.
