My Daughter’s Thoughts
Please keep in mind that my daughter is 13 years old. Although she is older, she still loves movies like these.
I thought that the movie “Swan Princess: Royally Undercover” was actually a pretty funny, little kids, adventure movie. It was about Princess Alise and her tulip farmer friend, Lucas. They become spies in order to go save their kingdom from an unexpected visitor who is stealing the kingdom’s money after they have a water crisis and the queen is falling in love with him. They spy on him to make sure he isn’t up to something all while trying to stop the “romance” that is growing between the prince and the queen.
At first I thought I wouldn’t like it because it didn’t have a deep enough plot for my age, but when I watched it I ended up liking it. I would say though, that the movie is for kids ages 10 and younger because in the first scene I thought I knew exactly what the ending was going to be. Other than that it was a good movie. Not too much singing and there was a little bit of a twist at the end.
Overall we recommend this as a family friendly movie. The Swan Princess: Royally Undercover is available for purchase now on Amazon.
