Newman’s Own Organics: Snack Ideas for the Entire Family

If you know me personally, you know I do not snack a lot and I do not like to give the kids sweet treats too often. We do from time to time enjoy our family movie nights filled with homemade popcorn. <p>However, when it comes to packing their lunches and giving them a healthy balanced diet I like to keep the “junk food” to a minimum. With Newman’s Own Organic, the food has gone through a third-party certification process that validates that at least 95% of the ingredients are organic. After a little bit of research on the company I discovered that, the manufacturing facility undergoes an inspection by an accredited agency to validate cleanliness, manufacturing procedures. Newman&#8217;s Own products all contain zero Trans fats.</p>

<p>With this in mind, we still packed the little guy’s (Carter) lunch with snacks in moderation. The taste is a mix of spices, fruit and fig. The boys seem to like them. Snacks and treats go a long way to putting a happy smile on everyone’s face. My boys were definitely having fun and I love to know that their healthy in the process.</p>

<p>Carter and my hubby liked the <a href="http://www.newmansown.com/foods/chocolate-alphabet-cookies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Chocolate Alphabet Cookies</a>. I have to admit they were very tasty. Look at the ingredients. Not bad at all for this label reading mama. Great way to help my <a href="https://abreak4mommy.com/2019/02/5-simple-delicious-lunch-ideas-for-picky-eaters/">picky eater</a> find things he like eats to for lunch. </p>

<p>Packing a few of these in his lunch bag with a banana, apple sauce, chicken, and milk makes a balanced daytime meal for our growing boy.</p>

If you have a desk job, it can be easy to snack when you get bored. I am trying to lose weight. At my desk at work, I tucked it away <a href="http://www.newmansown.com/foods/super-dark-chocolate-raspberry-cups/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Organic Super Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cups</a>. The cups sizes are so small, yet perfect enough to take the craving away. I only eat one and it is only when the craving calls.</p>
