<p>It comes with 3 AAA batteries, 100% satisfaction guarantee and two-year warranty. When you first get the scale you have to calibrate the scale for accuracy. It is simple to do. Set the scale on a flat, level surface.</p>
<ol>
<li>With one foot, press the platform of the scale so that numbers appear on the display. Once you see zeros or dashes remove your foot.</li>
<li>Wait for the scale to turn off again.</li>
<li>Step up onto the scale for a weight.</li>
<li>Your scale is now calibrated.</li>

<p>You can easily switch between pounds and kilograms by pushing the unit button to the left of the battery compartment. If you move your scale from room to room there is a chance it will need to re-calibrated.</p>

<p>Once calibrated, this scale is very accurate and comfortable to stand on. I hope the pictures can show how wide it is for you to stand no matter your size. Accuracy is very important for anyone during a weight-loss journey. No one no matter how much they weigh wants to get on a scale and see a pound of loss or gain that is not correct.</p>

<p>The thing I love so much is the large display number. The display also has a bright, blue back-light that can be seen from a far distance and in the dark. I have a hard time with my vision so this is very important to me.</p>
