As a public health educator, I want to keep my readers informed, happy and healthy. In this section, you will find articles on tips for healthy living. You probably don’t give much thought to decisions you make regarding your surroundings. However, each thing in our lives from the people we are friends with to our choice of transportation to work has an impact on our overall happiness.

Start Living Healthy

Make a decision today to start living healthy. As parents, we want to stay healthy for kids and live as long as possible. Our mental well being and overall happiness affect how our children feel.

If you can not change certain things about your life at the moment, change the way you think about things. Wake up every day and think positive.  Healthy living is all about finding the right balance for your life. What may be right for you, may not be right for someone else

I spent my early 20’s trying to fit a personality that was not meant for me based on others opinions. People were constantly telling me that I was too nice. The more aggressive I became the sadder I was inside. I was living my life for others and trying to be someone different. By nature, I was a kind person.

I forgave easily and spoke softly, that was me and  I was happy with that person. Now in my 30’s, I’ve spent time finding who I am and being true to myself. I live for me and I am living healthy and happy. Your mental happiness is the first place to start if you don’t know where to begin. Everything else will begin to align itself with your new healthy lifestyle!
